So I have been here for several weeks now. My computer hadn't make it threw shipping. No fault of UPS the mounting brackets for my water block sheered off. And seeing the computer was four years old and I already was looking to replace it. We spent allot of the money that was going to go to feed a new build on things we needed for apt. So I figured after going to wallmart and looking at "throw away" computers we can get new half decent computers for less than 900 USD and we can upgrade and slowly work them in to a real and long term machines as we can afford to. fist thing we both need are quality video cards seeing integrated video isn't worth wiping your ass with when it comes to advanced graphic work or gamming. I had ordered another video card that I could get back to doing what I enjoy doing, but once I opened up this freaking dell I found out that it didn't have a standard power conector that i need to help power the new video card. so now I also have to replace the power supply as well. the next step to making this Inspiron 530 into something more worthy is a new processor and motherboard and then after RAM which will be the cheapest of them all. Me and Gwen are doing fine, and our apt manager is moving us to another apt just up the way. due to mold growth and other health issues. our wonderful shifty SBC internet wont reach the extra twenty five yards or so to the other apt. SBC says that the developer mysteriously used another 500 some feet from this one to that one. I guess this works to our advantage seeing now we are getting road runner and cable with a DVR and Gwen wont have to miss the shows she likes when she is at school or work. I would assume in another month or so when we both settle in to the new and nicer apt. and our life togather a "limited time offer" type of a thing we will once again be heavly involved back into deviantART. I like this feature so much i am leaving it up.
